BBC One's 'The Missing' back up to 5.5m on Tuesday

The Missing bounced back to top the ratings on Tuesday outside soaps, overnight data reveals.

The BBC One drama gained back over 500,000 viewers from last week - when it went up against the England vs Scotland match - climbing to an average of 5.54 million (24.6%) at 9pm.

ITV's Champions League coverage scored 4.33m (18.5%) from 7.30pm.

On BBC Two, MasterChef: The Professionals cooked up 2.83m (12.6%) at 8pm, followed by Secrets of the Castle with 1.56m (6.9%) at 9pm.

Channel 4's Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners appealed to 1.45m (6.5%) at 8pm (274k/1.2% on +1), while The Paedophile Next Door fascinated 1.33m (5.9%) at 9pm (313k/2.0%). A Gogglebox repeat amused 1.32m (8.4%) at 10pm (168k/2.0%).

On Channel 5, Countdown to Murder brought in 967k (4.3%) at 8pm, followed by Miracle Babies with 927k (4.1%) at 9pm.

BBC Three's Life is Toff entertained 417k (2.4%) at 10pm. On ITV2, I'm a Celebrity... Now! attracted 702k (4.5%) at 10pm.

On Sky1, The Flash's latest episode thrilled 435k (1.9%) at 8pm.

Dave's final episodes of Storage Hunters UK tickled 415k (1.9%) at 8pm and 470k (2.1%) at 8.30pm.

Channel 4's Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners appealed to 1.45m (6.5%) at 8pm


The show was faked I was told this afternoon by someone who was actually on it.

She was banned from cleaning her house for four weeks before the cameras arrived. She was then excluded from the property for three hours while a team of industrial cleaners went in and sorted the place out.

Many of us had already guessed the show was faked but this confirmed it.
