Celebrity MasterChef rose by around 500,000 viewers to top Thursday outside soaps, overnight data reveals.
The finals stage of the competition brought in 4.49 million (23.1%) at 9pm on BBC One. Earlier, Talk to the Animals appealed to 1.85m (10.5%) at 8pm.
On BBC Two, Horizon interested 1.62m (9.2%) at 8pm, followed by The Honourable Woman with 1.48m (7.6%) at 9pm and Mock the Week with 1.30m (7.1%) at 10pm.
ITV's Harbour Lives with Ben Fogle was seen by 2.62m (14.8%) at 8.30pm. Britain's Poshest Nannies attracted 1.75m (9.1%) at 9pm (225k/1.3% on +1).
On Channel 4, Amazing Spaces gathered 1.27m (7.2%) at 8pm (249k/1.3%), while Embarrassing Bodies intrigued 1.10m (5.7%) at 9pm (225k/1.4%). The Secret Life of Students was seen by 575k (3.5%) at 10pm.
Channel 5's Black Market Britain brought in 832k (4.7%) at 8pm, followed by Caught on Camera with 1.16m (6.0%) at 9pm and Big Brother with 1.49m (8.8%) at 10pm.
On E4, the series finale of How I Met Your Mother amused 949k (5.3%) at 8.30pm (129k/0.7%).
