MasterChef climbs to 4.6 million on Thursday

MasterChef climbed in the ratings on Thursday evening, according to overnight data.

The BBC One cooking series was seen by 4.6m (21.9%) at 8pm, up 300,000 from last week.

Later, new series Parking Mad brought in 4.3m (20.6%) at 9pm. A repeat of BBC Three documentary Life and Death Row appealed to 1.9m (15.5%).

On BBC Two, Great British Menu attracted 1.9m (9.8%) at 7.30pm, followed by Digby Jones: The New Troubleshooter with 869k (4.1%) at 8pm and Protecting Our Parents at 9pm with 749k (3.6%).

ITV's Ade at Sea interested 2.6m (12.5%) at 8.30pm (155k/0.7% on +1), followed by Walton Sextuplets at 30 with 2.9m (14.1%) at 9pm (235k/1.4%).

On Channel 4, Posh Pawn intrigued 1.4m (6.8%) at 8pm (215k/1.0%). 15,000 Kids and Counting brought in 925k (4.4%) at 9pm (210k/1.3%), while 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown amused 1.10m (6.8%) at 10pm (151k/1.6%).

Channel 5's Beware Cowboy Builders was seen by 702k (3.3%) at 8pm, while Driven to Kill: Harold Shipman gathered 897k (4.3%) at 9pm (116k/0.7%). Person of Interest thrilled 707k (4.2%) at 10pm.

On E4, The Big Bang Theory amused 1.10m (5.2%) at 8pm (380k/1.8%), followed by How I Met Your Mother with 636k (3.0%) at 8.30pm (232k/1.1%).

ITV2's Tom Daley Goes Global entertained 285k (1.4%) at 9pm (122k/0.7%), while Celebrity Juice quizzed 949k (5.5%) at 10pm (306k/3.0%).
