Ratings: Children in Need Rocks concert attracts 4.2 million

The Children in Need Rocks 2013 concert highlights attracted 4.21 million on Thursday evening, according to overnight data.

Gary Barlow's charity event topped the night overall for BBC One, with a 19.23% audience share from 8pm.

On BBC Two, MasterChef: The Professionals cooked up 3.00m (13.5%) at 8pm, while Brian Cox's The Science of Doctor Who intrigued 2.60m (12.1%) at 9pm. Never Mind the Buzzcocks amused 1.61m (8.5%) at 10pm.

ITV's final episode of Breathless was seen by 2.11m (9.9%) at 9pm (82k/0.5% on +1). This is down nearly 200k from last week's episode.

On Channel 4, Amazing Spaces interested 1.49m (6.7%) at 8pm (286k/1.3%), followed by the latest Bedlam with 979k (4.6%) at 9pm (171k/1.0%). Bouncers continued with 1.30m (7.6%) at 10pm (198k/2.1%).

Channel 5's Countdown To Murder appealed to 1.13m (5.3%) at 8pm (211k/1.2%). Person of Interest was viewed by 876k (5.1%) at 10pm (148k/5.1%).

On E4, The Big Bang Theory tickled 1.28m (5.8%) at 8.30pm (361k/1.7%). ITV2's Celebrity Juice entertained 1.01m (5.7%) at 10pm (179k/1.8%).
