Who Do You Think You Are? maintained its lead in the Wednesday (August 7) ratings outside of soaps, according to overnight figures.
Minnie Driver's appearance on the show proved less popular than Nigel Havers last week, dropping 400,000 to 4.61 million (21.9%) at 9pm.
Earlier, Celebrity MasterChef gained back just under 100k from its last episode with 3.85m (19.2%) at 8pm. However, it was 600k down from last Wednesday's premiere.
On BBC Two, Restoration Home interested 1.91m (9.5%) at 8pm, followed by Queen Victoria's Home with 1.20m (5.7%) at 9pm.
ITV's clip show You Saw Them Here First entertained 3.61m (18.1%) at 8pm (403k/1.9% on +1). Neighbourhood Force appealed to 2.03m (9.6%) at 9pm (148k/0.9%).
On Channel 4, Anna Richardson and Louise Redknapp's new series How Not To Get Old was seen by 1.28m (6.4%) at 8pm (207k/1.0%). 24 Hours in A&E brought in 1.92m (9.1%) at 9pm (359k/2.2%). The Last Leg amused 817k (4.9%) at 10pm (151k/1.6%).
Channel 5's new documentary series Nurses opened to 1.01m (5.0%) at 8pm. Big Brother continued with 1.28m (6.1%) at 9pm (201k/1.2%).
BBC Three's airing of Die Hard with a Vengeance wast the highest-rated multichannel broadcast with 975k (5.2%) at 9pm.
