Monday night's ratings: 'The Fall' regains 350k viewers

Gillian Anderson's The Fall gained back over 350,000 viewers on Monday night, according to overnight figures.

The BBC Two drama bounced back after going up against Britain's Got Talent last week, attracting 3.24 million viewers (14.2%) at 9pm.

Earlier, Springwatch was seen by 2.44m (11.3%) at 8pm.

On BBC One, Fake Britain secured big ratings with 3.43m (17.6%) at 7.30pm, while Panorama brought in 1.98m (8.8%) at 8.30pm.

David Dimbleby's The People's Coronation was seen by 2.77m (12.1%) at 9pm.

ITV's The Dales attracted 2.97m (14.1%) at 8pm, (150k/0.7% on +1). Sir Ian McKellen's Vicious returned, dipping to 2.36m (10.3%) at 9pm (259k/1.4%), followed by The Job Lot with 1.82m (8.0%) at 9.30pm (224k/1.5%).

On Channel 4, Food Unwrapped grabbed 1.27m (5.7%) at 7.30pm. Skint won 2.36m (10.4%) at 9pm (451k/2.7%).

Channel 5's The Gadget Show returned for a new series with 644k (3.0%) at 8pm (108k/0.5%). Why Did Oscar Pistorious Kill Our Daughter? was seen by 1.24m (5.4%) at 8pm, followed by Pistorious Trial: Key Questions with 1.09m (6.5%) at 10pm.

BBC Four's Only Connect was the most-watched show on the multichannels with 692k (3.1%) at 8.30pm. Mechanical Marvels educated 556k (2.4%) at 9pm.

On E4, the Revenge season finale brought in 308k (1.4%) at 9pm, while the latest Made in Chelsea secured 556k (3.3%) at 10pm.

Game of Thrones' much-discussed 'Red Wedding' episode grabbed 452k (2.0%) on Sky Atlantic at 9pm.
