MasterChef rose to over 5.5 million viewers on BBC One on Thursday evening, overnight data reveals.
The cooking competition's ninth series' finale episode attracted 5.58m (24.1%) at 9pm. Later, Question Time was seen by 2.93m (25.4%) at 10.45pm.
On BBC Two, the World Snooker Championship scored 1.17m (5.9%) at 7pm. Watson & Oliver amused 594,000 (3.2%) at 10pm.
David Tennant's The Politician's Husband dropped nearly 800k viewers from last week's premiere, attracting 1.71m (7.4%) at 9pm.
ITV's coverage of Chelsea's Europa League win against Basel was seen by 3.78m (17.5%) at 7.30pm.
On Channel 4, Secret Eaters brought in 1.54m (7.4%) at 8pm, with 194k (0.8%) tuning in on +1. Documentary True Stories was seen by 1.67m (10.4%) at 10pm (301k/3.4%).
Repo Man premiered with 1.67m (7.2%) at 9pm, attracting 290k (1.7%) on +1.
On Channel 5, a repeat of Born To Kill secured 889k (4.3%) at 8pm, with Trauma Doctors seen by 868k (3.8%) at 9pm.
BBC Three's Joined for Life attracted 354k (1.5%) at 9pm, followed by Russell Howard's Good News with 797k (4.3%) at 10pm.
On E4, The Big Bang Theory amused 1.26m (6.2%) at 8pm (351k/1.5% on +1), while How I Met Your Mother entertained 738k (3.5%) at 8.30pm (156k/0.7%).
Peter Andre's My Life continued with 718k (3.1%) at 9pm (133k/0.8%). Celebrity Juice tickled 1.14m (6.6%) at 10pm (211k/2.2%).
