The third season of Justified began with nearly 120,000 viewers on 5USA, according to overnight data.
The premiere of the Timothy Olyphant drama, 'The Gunfighter', was seen by 118k (0.5%) in the 9pm hour. It was followed by Sons of Anarchy, which got 168k (1.1%).
Elsewhere on the multichannels, The Secret Circle and Grey's Anatomy appealed to 124k (0.6%) and 162k (1%) respectively on Sky Living.
The terrestrials were dominated by BBC One's The Apprentice (6.33m/26.7%) from 9pm, beating live Champions League football on ITV1 which averaged 3.74m (17.3%) from 7.30pm to 10pm.
Apprentice spinoff You're Fired! grabbed 2.18m (11.4%) on BBC Two from 10pm. Earlier on the channel, The Fisherman's Apprentice with Monty Halls took 1.66m (7.8%) and Wikileaks: The Secret Life of a Superpower had 641k (2.7%).
Channel 4's One Born Every Minute continued with 2.46m (10.4%) and 428k (2.5%) on timeshift, preceded by Four Rooms which managed 1.14m (5.3%) from 8pm (+1: 162k/0.7%).
Lastly, NCIS performed well with 1.72m (7.3%) in the 9pm hour (+1: 114k/0.7%). Law & Order: Criminal Intent followed with 970k (5.6%) and Big Body Squad drew 946k (4.4%) earlier from 8pm.
Overall, BBC One won primetime with 22.7% ahead of ITV1's 14.7% (+1: 0.4%). Channel 4's 6.2% (+1: 1.2%) edged out BBC Two's 5.9%. Channel 5 came fifth with 5.4% (+1: 0.3%).
