She's been on the show for 13 years
Homes Under the Hammer is about to undergo its own HUGE makeover as Lucy Alexander has stepped down as presenter.
Alexander has presented the show alongside Martin Roberts since 2003, with the two joined by former footballer Dion Dublin since 2015. She will leave the programme this month.
"I have loved being part of Homes Under the Hammer, it's been my life for 13 years," Alexander explained. "I have loved every minute and the whole team that have made the programme such a success, but it's time for a change."
Dan McGolpin, Controller BBC Daytime and Early-Peak, praised her "infectious enthusiasm".
"I'd like to thank Lucy for all of the hard work she has put in, she has been there since the start and has helped to make Homes Under the Hammer one of the most informative, helpful and best-loved series of its kind," he added.
Alexander will not be filming any more episodes of the show, but will continue to be seen in episodes already filmed and repeats on BBC One. Roberts and Dublin will continue to lead a team of presenters going forward.
Homes Under the Hammer airs every day at 10am on BBC One, reaching an average 1.1 million viewers and 24% audience share during the current series.
One unexpected fan of the show is none other than Hollywood icon Meryl Streep.
