London Spy bows out with 1.56m on Monday night

Ben Whishaw's London Spy concluded with over 1.5 million viewers last night.

1.56m (7.6%) tuned in to BBC Two at 9pm to see the espionage drama's divisive conclusion - up slightly on last week's figure of 1.3m.

Earlier on the channel, 1.73m (8.3%) tuned in for Only Connect at 7.30pm, followed by 2.86m (13%) for University Challenge at 8pm. Simply Nigella continued with 2.39m (11%) at 8.30pm.

Over on BBC One, Panorama's special on the controversy around FIFA and Sepp Blatter attracted 2.09m (9.8%) to the channel at 8.30pm, while 3.53m (17%) tuned in for Fake Britain at 7.30pm.

Las Vegas with Trevor McDonald saw 3.74m (18.2%) tuning in to ITV at 9pm for the veteran broadcaster's special, which featured an appearance from Mike Tyson. A further 198k (1.3%) watched later on ITV+1.

The Martin Lewis Money Programme was seen by 3.18m (14.4%) at 8pm (214k/1% on +1).

Channel 4's highest-rated show of the evening was Hunting the Paedophiles: Inside the National Crime Agency, which was seen by 1m (4.9%) at 9pm (288k/2% on +1). Fargo continued with 453k (3.2%) at 10pm.

Earlier in the evening, coverage of Liverpool architecture and design collective Assemble's Turner Prize victory brought in 359k (1.7%) at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile on Channel 5, On Benefits: Benefit Beauty Queens aired to 845k (4.1%) at 9pm, followed by 537k (3.6%) for Danger: Teen Bingers at 10pm.

Made in Chelsea continued with 531k (2.6%) over on E4 at 9pm, while BBC Three saw an audience of 515k (2.5%) for Reggie Yates' Extreme UK, the first in a three-part series on the dark side of masculinity in contemporary Britain.
