Eurovision's Greatest Hits attracts 1.89 million on Friday

Eurovision's Greatest Hits was seen by an average of 1.89 million (9.5%) viewers on BBC One.

Featuring the likes of Lordi, Conchita Wurst and Brotherhood of Man, Friday's (April 3) concert peaked with 2.12 million (12.3%) at 10.15pm.

BBC One's Masterchef was the evening's highest-rated show outside of soaps, scoring average viewing figures of 3.54 million (16%) at 8.30pm.

The One Show kicked things off with 3.4 million (17.7%) at 7pm, followed by 3.01 million (14.8%) for A Question of Sport.

Over on ITV, Barging Round Britain with John Sergeant was seen by an average audience of 2.99 million (14.3%) at 8pm, while Bear Grylls: Mission Survive entertained 3.03 million (14.4%) at 9pm.

BBC Two's evening began with 1.01 million (5.1%) for Alex Polizzi: The Fixer Revisits at 7pm, followed by 1.84 million (8.8%) for An Island Parish: Falklands and 2.07 million (9.4%) for Gardener's World.

Springwatch at Easter was seen by a BBC Two evening high of 2.25 million (10.7%) at 9pm, while The Clare Balding Show opened to 1.54 million (8.6%) at 10pm.

Gogglebox continues to do well for Channel 4, achieving ratings of 3.07 million (14.6%) at 9pm. It was sandwiched between Marvel's Agents of SHIELD with 670k (3.1%) and Alan Carr: Chatty Man with 1.51 million (9.4%).

Channel 5's Secrets of Great British Castle was seen by 916k (4.3%) at 8pm, followed by 919k (4.4%) for NCIS: New Orleans and 902k (5.4%) for NCIS at 10pm.

Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender was among the highest-rated multichannel shows, attracting 617k (3.1%) at 9pm.
