The Voice UK rises to 8.7 million viewers on Saturday night

The Voice UK rose to 8.7 million viewers last night (February 7), according to overnight figures.

BBC One's singing competition averaged a series high of 8.72m (40.3%) from 7.15pm.

The National Lottery: Win Your Wish List followed with 5.25m (25.3%), before Casualty managed 4.95m (24.9%).

On BBC Two, a Dad's Army repeat appealed to 1.74m (8.4%) from 8.35pm. QI XL continued with 1.26m (6.1%).

On ITV, Harry Hill's Stars in Their Eyes and Planet's Got Talent were watched by 2.35m (11.8%) and 1.97m (9.1%) respectively.

The latest Take Me Out entertained 3.05m (14.4%) from 8.05pm, with The Jonathan Ross Show appealing to 2.24m (11.5%) afterwards.

Channel 4's The World's Weirdest Weather was seen by 857k (4%) in the 8pm hour, before an airing of American Pie: Reunion garnered 974k (5.3%).

On Channel 5, a new instalment of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation interested 823k (5.2%) from 10.15pm.

ITV3's Foyles War topped the multichannels during primetime, with 940k (4.5%) tuning in from 8pm.
