The fourth episode of the current series was seen by an average audience of 4.4 million (21%) at 9pm on ITV.
Between visits to Coronation Street, a Secrets from the Sky Stonehenge special entertained 2.41 million (11.9%) at 8pm on ITV.
Have I Got News for You was once again BBC One's highest-rated show outside of soaps, drawing in 4.05 million viewers (19%) at 9pm.
BBC One's evening kicked off with 3.56 million (19.6%) for The One Show at 7pm, followed by 2.71 million (14.1%) for A Question of Sport at 7.30pm.
Citizen Khan returned to 2.86 million viewers (13.5%) at 8.30pm, while Not Going Out was seen by 3.22 million (15.7%).
Featuring the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Lena Dunham and Micky Flanagan, The Graham Norton Show capped off BBC One's evening with 3.35 million (26.5%) at 10.35pm.
Mastermind started things off with 1.26 million (6.9%) on BBC Two, followed by 1.3 million (6.7%) for Autumnwatch 2014 - Unsprung and 2.34 million (11.3%) for Autumnwatch 2014.
Tom Kerridge's Best Ever Dishes continued with 1.24 million (5.8%) at 9pm, Gardeners' World played to 1.33 million (6.5%) at 9.30pm and QI finished things off with 1.82 million (10.6%) at 10pm.
Gogglebox continued to do big numbers for Channel 4, playing to an average audience of 2.69 million (12.4%) at 9pm.
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD dropped to 840k (4%) for its second episode, with a further 203k (1%) watching on +1. Alan Carr: Chatty Man closed the night with 1.09 million (7.1%).
Over on Channel 5, Rome: The World's First Superpower was seen by 627k (3%) at 8pm, followed by 679k (3.2%) for Alex Polizzi's Secret Italy and 499k (3.1%) for Body of Proof at 10pm.
Family Guy was among the most popular multichannel shows, peaking with 509k (5.6%) for the second of four shows at 11.20pm.
