New Tricks tops Monday night ratings with 5.2m on BBC One

New Tricks dipped from last week but still topped Monday, overnight ratings reveal.

The BBC One drama dropped around 600,000 viewers to 5.28 million (23.1%) at 9pm.

21 Up: The New Generation intrigued 1.80m (15.5%) at 10.35pm. Earlier, new series Inside Out gathered 3.14m (15.6%) at 7.30pm, while Panorama brought in 2.52m (11.1%) at 8.30pm.

BBC Two's University Challenge quizzed 2.64m (12.0%) at 8pm, followed by Only Connect's BBC Two debut with 2.03m (12.0%) at 8.30pm. Alex Polizzi: The Fixer was seen by 905k (4.0%) at 9pm.

On ITV, Tonight: The Food We Eat appealed to 2.40m (10.9%) at 8pm. Long Lost Family concluded with 3.79m (15.6%) at 9pm (313k/2.0% on +1).

On Channel 4, Jamie's Comfort Food cooked up 1.26m (5.8%) at 8pm (195k/0.8%), followed by Gadget Man with 1.06m (4.6%) at 8.30pm (175k/0.8%). Royal Marines Commando School continued with 1.53m (6.7%) at 9pm (327k/2.0%).

Channel 5's Police Interceptors brought in 1.03m (4.6%) at 8pm (135k/0.6%). The latest Celebrity Big Brother entertained 1.58m (6.9%) at 9pm (262k/1.6%), followed by Under the Dome with 786k (4.8%) at 10pm.

On E4, The 100 continued with 602k (2.6%) at 9pm (199k/1.2%).

Sky1's Duck Quacks Don't Echo returned with 206k (0.9%) at 8pm, followed by 50 Ways To Kill Your Mama with 260k (1.1%) at 9pm.
