24: Live Another Day continued with 426,000 viewers on Sky1 last night (July 2), according to overnight figures.

The Kiefer Sutherland thriller managed 2.1% of the audience share in the 9pm hour, as an old villain returned in a surprise twist.

BBC One's Watchdog drew 3.85m (19.8%) from 8pm. It was followed by Celebrity MasterChef, which served 3.84m (18.6%).

On BBC Two, tennis highlights show Today at Wimbledon averaged 1.53m (7.8%) before Coast Australia appealed to 1.63m (7.9%). Matt LeBlanc's Episodes had 681k (3.8%) from 10pm.

ITV's All Star Mr & Mrs entertained 3.09m (15.8%) in the 8pm hour, and The Betrayers was seen by 1.91m (9.3%) afterwards.

Channel 4 aired This Old Thing: The Vintage Clothes Show (939k/4.8%) and One Born Every Minute (1.61m/7.8%).

Big Brother was watched by 1.17m (7.1%) on Channel 5 from 10pm, with 503k (5.4%) sticking around for Bit on the Side. Preceding the reality show were Brand New House for £5k (790k/4.1%) and The Hotel Inspector Returns (1.02m/4.9%).

On the multichannels, the season finale to BBC Three's Orphan Black attracted 245k (1.4%) from 10pm.
