BBC One's Watchdog intrigued 3.86m (20.3%) at 7.30pm, while the World Cup coverage of France v Ecuador scored 5.19m (27.0%) at 8.30pm.
On BBC Two, Today at Wimbledon gathered 1.29m (6.6%) at 8pm, followed by Panorama with 822k (3.8%) at 9pm and Episodes with 697k (9.4%) at 10pm.
Channel 4's This Old Thing: Victorian Clothes Show appealed to 964k (4.9%) at 8pm (162k/0.8%). One Born Every Minute was seen by 1.73m (8.1%) at 9pm (171k/1.0%).
On Channel 5, Brand New Home for £5k interested 831k (4.2%) at 8pm, followed by The Hotel Inspector Returns with 1.34m (6.3%) at 9pm. Big Brother: Power Trip continued with 1.06m (6.0%) at 10pm.
BBC Three's Orphan Black thrilled 192k (2.0%) at 11pm.
On ITV2, I Wanna Marry Harry attracted 263k (1.2%) at 9pm, while The Only Way Is Marbs brought in 636k (3.5%) at 10pm (135k/1.4%).
