'The Voice' UK scores series low of 5.9m on Saturday night

The Voice UK scored a series low of 5.89 million (29.7%) from 7.15pm on Saturday (May 25), overnight data suggests.

The BBC One show was down 1.48m on the previous episode, but was still the most-watched broadcast of the night in the absence of ITV's Britain's Got Talent. The two-hour instalment, which featured the last of the battle rounds, peaked at 6.7m.

ITV aired the UEFA Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund between 7pm and 10.15pm, attracting 3.5m (17.7%).

Back on BBC One, Casualty had 4.23m (21.5%) at 9.15pm and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow pulled in 2.11m (16.1%) at 10.30pm.

BBC Two aired coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show 2013 between 7pm and 8.15pm, picking up 1.65m (9.1%). Dad's Army followed with 1.47m (7.1%) and documentary David Bowie - Five Years interested 1.33m (7.1%) at 9.30pm.

Channel 4 showed movie Titanic at 7pm, bringing in 980k viewers (5%).

Elsewhere, a double bill of NCIS took 739k (3.6%) and 890k (4.2%) respectively from 8.15pm on Channel 5, while True Crimes attracted 664k (3.5%) at 10pm.

Doc Martin was the highest rated show on the multichannels, pulling in 704k (3.4%) on ITV3 at 8pm.
