Straight Outta Compton has shot straight to the top of the UK box office following a quiet weekend.
The NWA biopic debuted with £2.4m, keeping Pixar's Inside Out at number two for the third week running with £1.2m.
Hitman: Agent 47 landed at number three in its opening weekend with £961,411, while Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation took £890,857 to stay at number four.
Despite battling with terrible reviews, Pixels moves up one place to number five with £664,728 and Guy Ritchie's Man From U.N.C.L.E. is at six with £658,399.
Elsewhere, horror sequel Sinister 2 takes £569,830 to land at number seven and John Green's Paper Towns adaptation drops from the top spot to number eight for its second week, taking £452,953.
Minions rises one place to number nine, managing £353,262, and rounding off the top ten is 45 Years which debuted with £331,196.
