22 Jump Street beats Maleficent at UK box office

22 Jump Street has topped the UK box office for the second consecutive weekend.



Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill's comedy sequel leads the top ten ahead of Angelina Jolie's Maleficent and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Tom Cruise action movie Edge of Tomorrow is close behind in fourth, meaning that the top four films are all unchanged from last week.

The chart saw three new releases make the top ten, with Karen Gillan's Oculus the most successful. The horror movie debuted at number five ahead of period drama Belle (number six) and Devil's Knot (number nine).

Rio 2, which has been on release for 11 weeks, climbs up a spot to round out the top ten.
