'Avatar' regains UK box office top spot

James Cameron's Avatar has won back its place at the summit of the UK box office.

The 3D sci-fi extravaganza rises back to the top after temporarily being deposed by seasonal hit Valentine's Day, which drops to fourth.

Disney's old-school animation The Princess and the Frog rises from fourth to second, while new entry The Lovely Bones leaps into third and Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief keeps its place at five.

Elsewhere, seventh-placed Solomon Kane is the only other new release in the top ten, while Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel chalks up its ninth week in the chart, rising one position to eight.
