Exploring a parallel world with Huw Bowen in Leamington

Prepare for some out of this world entertainment with a special screening of a sci-fi movie hit filmed in Coventry and Warwickshire.



Triple Hit was directed by Huw Bowen, and produced by Chris Pinches and follows the fortunes of a renegade scientist investigating parallel worlds.

She discovers a way to travel to alternative realities only to discover there are different versions of her with entirely different agendas. As the world begins to collapse around her, she has to use her genius to save reality.

The feature film was shot entirely on location around Coventry, Leamington and Warwick and has been screened at festivals worldwide. It won best sci-fi feature at the Phoenix Film Festival.

The indie movie has also been released in America, Russia, Japan and Malaysia and there is a chance to see the sci-fi special at a special screening tonight at the Royal Cinema in Leamington.

Chris Pinches says: “Our aim is to make high quality independent genre movies in the West Midlands.”
