Midnight Tango to play at Showcase Cinema, Coventry

It takes two to tango as Strictly Come Dancing stars Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace hit the big screen at Showcase Coventry today.



The cinema is presenting a screening of dance special Midnight Tango at 7.30pm.

The show is produced by award-winning choreographer and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips and features Vincent and Flavia at their sizzling best.

Midnight Tango is currently on tour and will have played 80 sold-out dates by the end of July.

It has been seen by more than 180,000 people and the success of the tour has led to a 10-week West End residency next year.

The stunning show is being broadcast live to Showcase Coventry tonight for one night only.

The action is set in a late night bar in downtown Buenos Aires and features some of the world’s finest tango dancers.

Spokeswoman Katie McDermott says: “As danger and excitement, joy and jealousy, pain and passion all combine – this is a spectacular and explosive show not to be missed.

“Midnight Tango promises to be a breathtaking evening bringing all the drama, sensuality and elegance of this most exciting of dance forms to life.”
