I love Thunderbirds, but won't bother upgrading for now.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

The Blu-ray is best viewed on a dedicated 5:4 ratio video monitor. They are still available and very affordable but have limited screen sizes, typically only nineteen inches. To put that into perspective a rental TV available at the time of original broadcast had a diameter of just seventeen inches, was black & white and had a screen resolution of less than 400 lines.

An exception are the two movie episodes (1966 and 1968) which were shot in Techniscope and are best viewed on a so-called 'ultra-wide' monitor, normally used for gaming. The latter are also great for watching many (but not all) modern movies.
