A new free alternative for those without Disney+

The genre-defining turn-of-the-millennium show is available for Disney+ subscribers and isn't going anywhere, but for those of you who don't pay for the House of Mouse's service (or Paramount+, which also has it), a new free alternative is about open up.

ITV has announced that all seven seasons will be coming to the ITVX streaming service as part of its winter line-up, covering January to March 2025. We don't have a more specific date at the current time, sadly.

Previously, all of Buffy was available to stream via Channel 4's service, then known as All4.

It's not the only show previously available on All4 that's coming to ITVX, as Party of Five and My Name is Earl (both of which actually aired on Channel 4 back in the day) are also joining the service between January and March.

If you don't want to wait, My Name Is Earl is also available now on Disney+.

Sarah Michelle Gellar's new series, the Dexter prequel Original Sin, recently dropped a trailer ahead of its premiere in just a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, a reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer is also in the works, and while Gellar won't be reprising her role (unsurprising, considering her character is dead), she is serving on the project in a different capacity.

"My best friend [Jennifer Kaytin Robinson] is directing it, so we joke that I have an unofficial job, which is I am continuity," she explained.

"So I'm always the one telling her, 'Well, that would happen, or that wouldn't happen with those characters,' so I do have kind of an unofficial job title."
