Coronation Street topped the soap ratings for the third consecutive evening on Friday (November 27), overnight figures show.

6.76m (34.5%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 110k (0.5%) on +1 as Tyrone shocked Roy with an angry outburst, while 6.01m (28.9%) returned at 8.30pm and 98k (0.4%) on +1 to see Roy offer to help solve Tyrone's financial problems.

Emmerdale attracted 5.73m (29.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 112k (0.6%) on +1 as Diane received worrying news at the hospital.

EastEnders rose to 5.69m (28.5%) at 8pm on BBC One as Ronnie discovered that Vincent is on a mission to bring down the Mitchells. BBC Three's repeat added 216k (1.1%) at 10pm.

Hollyoaks continued with 757k (4.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Simone's pregnancy was revealed (+1: 27k / 0.1%), while E4's first look followed with 515k (2.7%) at 7pm (+1: 95k / 0.5%).

Neighbours aired to 697k (9.7%) at 1.45pm and 615k (4.0%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Toadie realised that someone is tormenting Steph.

Doctors managed 1.23m (17.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Valerie was diagnosed with cancer.

Home and Away mustered 236k (3.3%) at 1.15pm and 498k (2.9%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 326k (1.8%) at 6.30pm.
