Coronation Street was Wednesday's most-watched soap (November 25) with the continued fallout from the Leanne and Simon drama, overnight figures show.

6.68m (33.1%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 235k (1.1%) on +1 as Tracy infuriated Robert with her lack of compassion towards Leanne, leaving their relationship on the rocks.

Emmerdale attracted 6.12m (31.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 149k (0.7%) on +1 as Chas's fear led to her stabbing Diane at The Woolpack.

Hollyoaks entertained 929k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Darren crushed Nancy's hopes for a reunion by letting her down (+1: 75k / 0.4%), while E4's first look followed with 634k (3.3%) at 7pm and 100k (0.5%) on +1.

Neighbours aired to 702k (10.2%) at 1.45pm and 685k (4.3%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Steph faced even more problems.

Doctors continued with 1.33m (19.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Heston and Ruhma's intimate dinner didn't go according to plan.

Home and Away mustered 270k (3.8%) at 1.15pm and 538k (3.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 368k (1.9%) at 6.30pm.
