Coronation Street's Liz and Tony story continues with 5.9m

Coronation Street dipped just below the 6 million mark in its earlier timeslot on Friday (November 13), overnight figures show.

The Weatherfield soap brought in 5.88m (30.5%) at 7pm on ITV and 167k (0.8%) on +1 as Liz tried to convince Tony to give Steve his share of The Rovers back. Corrie aired in the earlier slot due to ITV's coverage of the Spain vs. England game.

Hollyoaks attracted 807k (4.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Myra McQueen returned on the day of Gabriel's funeral (+1: 41k / 0.2%). E4's first look followed with 551k (2.9%) at 7pm (+1: 56k / 0.3%).

Neighbours interested 646k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 738k (4.7%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Imogen discovered a new clue in the school's arson mystery.

Doctors continued with 1.36m (19.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Heston and Ruhma spent more time in each other's company.

Home and Away managed 194k (2.9%) at 1.15pm and 530k (3.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 385k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
