Coronation Street brings in 6.5m viewers on Wednesday

Coronation Street topped the ratings on Wednesday (November 11) as Tony continued to fight for Liz, overnight figures show.

6.53m (33.3%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 321k (1.5%) on +1 as Tony vowed to cut all ties with Tracy as part of his efforts to win Liz back.

Emmerdale stayed just above the 6 million mark, attracting 6.01m (32.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 186k (0.9%) on +1 as Robert's big discovery led to a deadly showdown with Andy on a country road.

Hollyoaks grabbed 813k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Lindsey attacked Grace in a desperate bid to protect her Gloved Hand Killer secret (+1: 69k / 0.4%). E4's first look followed with 603k (3.2%) at 7pm (+1: 99k / 0.5%).

Neighbours continued to impress with its lunchtime performance, bringing in 821k (12.3%) at 1.45pm on Channel 5 as Daniel's betrayal made life even worse for Paul. 653k (4.4%) caught the teatime screening at 5.30pm.

Doctors aired to 1.21m (18.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Karen had to hold the fort at The Campus on her own.

Home and Away interested 231k (3.5%) at 1.15pm and 587k (3.5%) at 6pm on Channel 5 as Marilyn finally regained consciousness, while the fallout was seen by 486k (2.7%) on 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
