Coronation Street brings in 6.4m viewers on Friday

Coronation Street topped the ratings on Friday (November 6) as Audrey was honest about her feelings for Ken, overnight figures show.

6.41m (33.2%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 98k (0.5%) on +1 as Audrey confided in Rita about her feelings, but the night's second episode proved less appealing as only 5.73m (27.9%) returned at 8.30pm and 215k (1.1%) on +1 to see Audrey realise that Nessa already had her claws into Ken.

EastEnders was almost level with the second Corrie, attracting 5.72m (28.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kush was revealed as the father of Stacey's baby on the day of his wedding to Shabnam. BBC Three's repeat added 283k (1.6%) at 10pm.

Emmerdale continued with 5.64m (30.6%) at 7pm on ITV and 89k (0.4%) on +1 as Chas and Emma clashed over the 'stalker' situation.

Hollyoaks was seen by 805k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Theresa stripped off for a bikini photoshoot (+1: 74k / 0.4%), while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 615k (3.3%) at 7pm (+1: 77k / 0.4%).

Doctors aired to 1.43m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Heston and Ruhma shared a surprise kiss.

Neighbours entertained 777k (11.2%) at 1.45pm and 645k (4.3%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Kyle's harsh comments pushed Amy too far.

Home and Away managed 227k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 507k (3.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 391k (2.2%) at 6.30pm.
