Coronation Street's extra Thursday episode came out on top of the soaps last night.Fiz and Tyrone's latest fight attracted an average overnight audience of 6.23 million (30.0%) at 8pm on ITV (375,000/1.9% on +1).
Emmerdale came second with its hour-long Bonfire Night special with 5.75m (28.7%) at 7pm (148k/0.7%).
EastEnders suffered due to the Emmerdale clash, dipping to 4.35m (21.0%) at 7.30pm. Its BBC Three repeat brought in 616k (3.6%) at 10pm.
On Channel 4, Hollyoaks appealed to 727k (3.9%) at 6.30pm, while E4's first-look was seen by 522k (2.7%) at 7pm (110k/0.5%).
Earlier, BBC One's Doctors attracted 1.31m (19.2%) at 1.45pm.
On Channel 5, Home and Away interested 199k (2.8%) at 1.15pm and 617k (3.5%) at 6pm. 5*'s first-look gathered 407k (2.2%) at 6.30pm. Neighbours continued with 725k (10.7%) at 1.45pm and 734k (4.7%) at 5.30pm.
