Dipping outside of its usual day and slot, Corrie pulled in 5.75m (28.3%) at 7pm on ITV with an hour-long episode focusing on the latest Callum drama - the show's lowest figure since July 16.

322k (1.4%) caught up with the episode an hour later on ITV+1.

Corrie's latest airing saw Jason Grimshaw attempt to get revenge on Callum, who later piled the pressure on David and Kylie in a bid to extort £20,000 from them.

The Sunday airing was scheduled in as Coronation Street won't have any Friday episodes this week due to ITV's Rugby World Cup coverage.

The show continues tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm with its usual Monday night double bill.
