Coronation Street topped the soap ratings on Wednesday (August 12) with more bad behaviour from Simon, overnight figures show.
6.05m (32.6%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 244k (1.1%) on +1 as Simon pushed Leanne to breaking point by getting drunk with his friends at the Bistro, leading to another furious showdown between them.
Emmerdale attracted 5.55m (34.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 225k (1.1%) on +1 as Megan bought a pregnancy test.
Hollyoaks aired to 715k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Frankie and Grace continued to clash (+1: 76k / 0.4%), while E4's first look followed with 581k (3.5%) at 7pm (+1: 76k / 0.4%).
Doctors claimed 1.12m (18.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Niamh's brother Sean said his goodbyes.
Neighbours managed 598k (9.9%) at 1.45pm and 520k (4.8%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as the Brennan brothers' father Russell turned up.
