6.32m (35.8%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 164k (0.9%) on +1 as Cathy reacted badly to Fiz, Tyrone and Chesney's attempts to clean her house. 6.17m (32.5%) returned at 8.30pm and 175k (1.0%) on +1 as Roy invited Cathy to move in with him.
EastEnders attracted 5.51m (31.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Pam reacted to Paul's bombshell about Les. BBC Three's repeat added 207k (1.3%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale wasn't far behind, pulling in 5.34m (32.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 132k (0.8%) on +1 as Lachlan had an idea to take revenge against Robert.
Hollyoaks interested 725k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sienna and Nancy had a showdown at The Dog, while E4's first look topped a quiet night for multichannels with 464k (2.8%) at 7pm and 100k (0.6%) on +1.
