Coronation Street was Friday's top-rated programme (July 3) with Liz's attempts to get even with Tracy and Tony, overnight figures show.The Weatherfield soap pulled in 5.69m (33.0%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 161k (0.9%) on +1 as Tracy was arrested after Liz tipped off the police about dodgy dealings at the second hand shop. 5.57m (30.0%) returned for the fallout at 8.30pm and 146k (0.8%) on +1.
EastEnders attracted 5.27m (30.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Tamwar discovered Nancy's secret troubles. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 331k (1.9%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale dipped to 4.21m (25.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 256k (1.5%) on +1 with Megan's revenge plans, dented by BBC Two's Wimbledon coverage which soared ahead in the timeslot.
Neighbours entertained 509k (8.5%) at 1.45pm and 661k (6.0%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Imogen became suspicious over Josh's job.
Hollyoaks appealed to 561k (3.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 101k (0.6%) on +1 with more trouble between Pete and Porsche, while E4's first look followed with 481k (2.8%) at 7pm.
Home and Away continued with 223k (3.7%) at 1.15pm and 435k (3.3%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look claimed 202k (1.4%) at 6.30pm.
