Coronation Street was Wednesday's most-watched programme (July 1) with Liz's plot for revenge, overnight figures show.6.07m (35.0%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 250k (1.4%) on +1 as Steve learned the truth and Liz resolved to play dirty against Tony and Tracy.
Emmerdale attracted 5.16m (32.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 220k (1.3%) on +1 as Jai found a new way to spy on Rachel.
Hollyoaks claimed 570k (3.7%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Sienna's shocking discovery, while E4's first look followed with 530k (3.3%) at 7pm.
Neighbours entertained 592k (9.8%) at 1.45pm and 620k (5.2%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Aaron's arrival in Erinsborough caused a stir.
Home and Away managed 215k (3.5%) at 1.15pm and 455k (3.3%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 272k (1.8%) at 6.30pm.
