Coronation Street baby decision brings in 6.3m on Wednesday

Coronation Street was Wednesday's most-watched programme (June 24) with a big decision for the Windass family, overnight figures show.

6.26m (35.4%) tuned in at 7.30pm on ITV and 235k (1.3%) on +1 as Anna, Tim and Faye all accepted that it was best to hand baby Miley over to Jackson's family.

Emmerdale attracted 5.45m (33.2%) at 7pm on ITV and 178k (1.1%) on +1 as Cain finally managed to track down Adam and Victoria.

Neighbours entertained 527k (9.8%) at 1.45pm and 721k (6.2%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Paul's daughter Amy returned again.

Hollyoaks claimed 658k (4.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Rose's kidnap, while E4's first look followed with 536k (3.3%) at 7pm as the culprit was revealed.

Doctors was seen by 1.04m (19.4%) at 1.45pm on BBC One as Howard and Emma's date project continued.

Home and Away managed 176k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 547k (4.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 310k (2.1%) at 6.30pm.
