EastEnders pulls in 5.7m with Masood's big decision

EastEnders topped a relatively low-rating evening for the soaps on Thursday (June 11), overnight figures show.

The Walford drama was the most-watched programme of the day, bringing in 5.66m (33.3%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Masood approached Shirley with the truth about Shabnam and Dean's daughter. BBC Three's repeat screening had 151k (4.9%) after being shunted to a 12.30am slot due to Women's World Cup coverage.

Emmerdale attracted 4.91m (31.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 120k (0.7%) on +1 as Charity gave birth to a baby son in a shock storyline twist. 4.94m (27.7%) saw the fallout for the Dingles at 8pm, adding 185k (1.0%) on +1.

Hollyoaks interested 690k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Robbie recorded a message for Phoebe from prison, while E4's first look followed with 565k (3.6%) at 7pm.

Neighbours grabbed 621k (11.9%) at 1.45pm and 624k (5.7%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as the results of the paternity test for Amber's baby sparked drama on Ramsay Street.

Doctors entertained 1.08m (20.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One with Jody Latham's guest appearance and Al's attempts to inject some fun into his working day.

Home and Away managed 181k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 380k (2.9%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 289k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
