Coronation Street was Wednesday's top-rated programme (May 13) with Tony's ongoing scheming, overnight figures show.
The Weatherfield soap pulled in 6.07m (33.5%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 280k (1.4%) on +1 as Tony arranged for some contacts to put the frighteners on Liz as part of his cunning plan to take full control of The Rovers.
Emmerdale claimed 5.28m (32.8%) at 7pm on ITV and 270k (1.4%) on +1 as Lachlan finally apologised to Alicia.
Hollyoaks attracted 697k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as the five Gloved Hand Killer suspects were questioned over Mariam's death. E4's first look followed with 476k (2.9%) at 7pm and 168k (0.9%) on +1.
Neighbours interested 579k (10.0%) at 1.45pm and 710k (6.3%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Imogen faced more problems in the romance department.
Elsewhere, Doctors continued with 1.26m (21.9%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
