The Walford soap was the most-watched programme of the day, bringing in 6.97m (34.2%) at 7.30pm on BBC One as Sharon realised that her father may have been a friend of Den Watts. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 270k (2.1%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale continued with 6.15m (32.0%) at 7pm on ITV and 131k (0.6%) on +1 as Jimmy thwarted Nicola's plans to move to Dubai.
Holby City claimed 4.73m (22.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Harry's operation day arrived.
Hollyoaks interested 942k (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Freddie and Robbie handed themselves in to the police, while E4's first look followed with 598k (3.1%) at 7pm and 146k (0.7%) on +1.
Neighbours entertained 671k (10.1%) at 1.45pm and 791k (5.6%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Brennan discovered Matt's dodgy dealings.
Home and Away mustered 202k (2.9%) at 1.15pm and 590k (3.6%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 386k (2.1%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.37m (20.7%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
