Corrie was the most-watched show of the day, attracting 7.58m (34.7%) at 7.30pm on ITV as impostor Andy Carver finally told Steph that he has been impersonating Michael's son. 7.46m (32.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 156k (0.7%) on +1 as Steph decided to cover for Andy in fear that the truth could kill Michael.
EastEnders attracted 7.13m (31.6%) at 8pm on BBC One as Mick and Linda were shocked to find Dean at The Vic when they finally returned home. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 396k (2.5%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.34m (31.7%) at 7pm on ITV as help finally arrived for troubled Belle.
Hollyoaks managed 791k (4.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as killer Will Savage managed to escape, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 701k (3.5%) at 7pm and 127k (0.6%) on +1.
Neighbours claimed 623k (8.0%) at 1.45pm and 898k (5.5%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Sheila suffered a heart attack after discovering Gary's true colours.
Home and Away mustered 209k (2.7%) at 1.15pm and 647k (3.5%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 418k (2.2%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors continued with 1.64m (21.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
