Corrie was the most-watched show of the day, bringing in 7.73m (34.9%) at 7.30pm on ITV and 130k (0.5%) on +1 as a dodgy guy turned nasty with Tracy at the second hand shop. 7.71m (32.5%) returned at 8.30pm and 141k (0.6%) on +1 as the extent of Tony's scheming was revealed.
EastEnders attracted 7.45m (31.9%) at 8pm on BBC One as Yvonne told Charlie the truth about the car crash. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 357k (2.5%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.54m (30.9%) at 7pm on ITV and 162k (0.7%) on +1 as Cain's loved ones urged him to see sense.
Hollyoaks claimed 1.04m (5.1%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Robbie's latest troubles, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 763k (3.6%) at 7pm and 133k (0.6%) on +1.
Waterloo Road continued with 707k (2.9%) at 8.30pm on its new home of BBC Three, while BBC One's repeat screening had 943k (8.6%) at 10.35pm.
Neighbours entertained 650k (7.8%) at 1.45pm and 847k (5.2%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Brennan ruined things for Erin.
Home and Away managed 251k (3.0%) at 1.15pm and 600k (3.2%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look appealed to 410k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
