EastEnders remained on top of the soap ratings on Boxing Day, overnight figures show.
7.41m (33.3%) watched at 8pm on BBC One as the drama for the Carter family continued following the revelation of Linda and Shirley's big secrets.
EastEnders was the most-watched show of the day across all channels, while BBC Three's repeat screening secured 428k (2.4%) at 10.30pm.
Airing earlier than usual, Coronation Street attracted 6.32m (27.8%) at 7pm on ITV and 308k (1.4%) on +1 as Roy was arrested for attacking Gary in an hour-long episode.
Emmerdale, which was also out of its usual slot, interested 4.24m (19.8%) at 6.30pm on ITV and 196k (0.9%) on +1 as Jai spotted the man who sold him Archie.
Facing a clash with Emmerdale, Hollyoaks dipped to 702k (3.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sinead's life hung in the balance following the hit and run. E4's first look followed with 369k (1.6%) at 7pm.
