EastEnders: Linda, Dean plot continues with 6.5m on Tuesday

EastEnders was Tuesday evening's top-rated soap (December 23) with the latest twisted behaviour from Dean Wicks, overnight figures show.



6.53m (29.5%) watched at 7.30pm on BBC One as Dean vengefully exposed the truth about Linda and Mick's 'marriage' after being dumped by Stacey. BBC Three's repeat screening later secured its highest rating since September 23 with 560k (3.4%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale attracted 5.6m (27.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 215k (1.0%) on +1 as Charity and Moira continued to clash.

Holby City interested 4.48m (20.0%) at 8pm on BBC One as Oliver Valentine returned to the hospital as a patient.

Hollyoaks claimed 947k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Ste and John Paul's eventful stag nights, while a first look at the show's hour-long Christmas special brought 632k (3.0%) to E4 at 7pm and 119k (0.5%) to E4+1.
