Coronation Street was Friday evening's top-rated soap (December 19) as Tracy Barlow turned her attentions to Tony Stewart, overnight figures show.
6.94m (34.8%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 111k (0.5%) on +1 as Tony gave into temptation when Tracy tried to seduce him following the news of Rob's sentence.
Airing against ITV's Text Santa, EastEnders managed 5.54m (26.2%) at 8pm on BBC One as Linda came close to telling Stacey the truth about Dean. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 399k (2.5%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 5.52m (28.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 121k (0.6%) on +1 as Lawrence tried to make amends with the Bartons.
Hollyoaks interested 727k (3.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and 102k (0.5%) on +1 as Dodger's kidnap ordeal continued, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 777k (4.0%) at 7pm and 157k (0.7%) on +1.
Home and Away's final episode of the year was seen by 238k (3.4%) at 1.20pm and 569k (3.3%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 408k (2.2%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors' last episode before the show's Christmas break claimed 1.56m (23.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
