Coronation Street topped Monday's soap ratings (December 15) with the latest drama for Kylie Platt, overnight figures show.
7.54m (35.6%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 167k (0.7%) on +1 as bad boy Callum left Kylie stunned with a shock visit to the Street. 7.09m (30.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 196k (0.9%) on +1 to see how Kylie would deal with the situation.
EastEnders continued with 6.97m (30.5%) at 8pm on BBC One as Ronnie began making plans to get rid of Nick. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 419k (3.2%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale attracted 6.18m (30.3%) at 7pm on ITV and 118k (0.5%) on +1 as Robert decided to take revenge following Diane's gift to Andy and Katie.
Hollyoaks interested 1.1m (5.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Sienna's obsession with Dodger continued, while E4's first look topped the day's multichannel ratings with 758k (3.7%) at 7pm and 106k (0.5%) on +1.
Home and Away entertained 222k (3.1%) at 1.30pm and 637k (3.4%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 402k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.52m (22.2%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
