Tracy's anger seen by 7.8m on Monday's Coronation Street

Coronation Street topped Monday's soap ratings (December 1) with more tension between Tracy and Carla, overnight figures show.

7.8m (36.6%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 160k (0.7%) on +1 as Tracy continued to swear revenge against Carla as she blamed her for ruining her life.

EastEnders attracted 6.99m (30.4%) at 8pm on BBC One as Ian and Jane made a shocking discovery on Lucy's phone. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 386k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.

Emmerdale managed 6.32m (31.7%) at 7pm on ITV and 103k (0.4%) on +1 as Moira was the victim of a road accident.

Hollyoaks interested 1.02m (5.3%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Jason and Robbie's boxing match, while E4's first look followed with 794k (4.0%) at 7pm and 122k (0.5%) on +1.

Neighbours appealed to 584k (7.9%) at 1.45pm and 933k (5.8%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 with Rain's manipulation.

Home and Away mustered 235k (3.1%) at 1.15pm and 617k (3.4%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look followed with 344k (1.8%) at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, Doctors continued with 1.51m (20.5%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
