Michelle's heartbreak brings in 7m on Coronation Street

Coronation Street topped the midweek soap ratings (November 26) with more heartbreak for Michelle, overnight figures show.

7.03m (32.8%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 298k (1.3%) on +1 as Michelle was crushed when Steve snubbed an opportunity for them to get back together.

Emmerdale interested 6.12m (31.1%) at 7pm on ITV and 181k (0.8%) on +1 as Belle's unexplained injuries left her family in turmoil.

Waterloo Road managed 2.59m (11.8%) at 8pm on BBC One as Kevin had to face the consequences of his hacking.

Hollyoaks attracted 1m (5.2%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Diane discovered the truth about Tony and Sinead's affair. E4's first look then topped the multichannel ratings for the third consecutive day with 830k (4.2%) at 7pm and 202k (0.9%) on +1.

Neighbours claimed 719k (10.4%) at 1.45pm and 886k (5.6%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 as Imogen blamed Paige for her parents' marital issues.

Home and Away appealed to 289k (4.1%) at 1.15pm and 582k (3.3%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 357k (1.9%) at 6.30pm.

Elsewhere, BBC One's Doctors was seen by 1.48m (21.7%) at 1.45pm.
