7.46m (36.9%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 124k (0.6%) on +1 as Eileen and Jason made a fateful decision to snub an apology meal that Todd had organised at the Bistro. 7.09m (32.4%) returned at 8.30pm and 229k (1.0%) on +1 as the pair were left devastated to hear that Todd had been attacked while alone and vulnerable.
EastEnders attracted 6.24m (29.3%) at 8pm on BBC One as Pam became fearful that her secret could be exposed. BBC Three's repeat screening had 370k (2.5%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.04m (31.8%) at 7pm on ITV and 134k (0.6%) on +1 as Andy was shocked to hear of Lawrence's offer to Katie.
Hollyoaks grabbed 819k (4.4%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Dodger made his return, while E4's first look was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day with 638k (3.4%) at 7pm and 127k (0.6%) on +1.
Neighbours entertained 571k (8.1%) at 1.45pm and 858k (5.3%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 with a comedy plot for Karl in the show's 7,000th episode.
Home and Away claimed 240k (3.3%) at 1.15pm and 525k (3.0%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look secured 418k (2.2%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, BBC One's Doctors continued with 1.35m (19.4%) at 1.45pm.
