7.06m (35.4%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 168k (0.8%) on +1 as Peter's murder trial continued and Roy struggled as he returned to Blackpool for the first time since Hayley's death. 7.03m (32.1%) returned at 8.30pm and 205k (0.9%) on +1 as Roy was left devastated by a break-in at the café upon his return to Weatherfield.
EastEnders attracted 6.2m (29.1%) at 8pm on BBC One as Linda remained in turmoil following her rape ordeal. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 420k (2.7%) at 10.30pm.
Emmerdale interested 6.04m (32.2%) at 7pm on ITV and 129k (0.6%) on +1 as Charity was finally rescued when Sam came clean over her whereabouts.
Hollyoaks brought in 861k (4.9%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as Diane realised that Tony was cheating on her, while the fallout brought 655k (3.5%) to E4's first look at 7pm.
Neighbours entertained 612k (9.4%) at 1.45pm and 802k (5.6%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 with a special episode celebrating 20 years of the Kennedys. For the second day in a row, Neighbours was the highest-rated show on Channel 5 - this time with the soap's evening edition.
Home and Away managed 215k (3.2%) at 1.15pm and 518k (3.2%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look had 348k (2.0%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors was seen by 1.49m (23.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
