Coronation Street topped Wednesday's soap ratings (August 20) with Ken Barlow's concerns for his son Peter, overnight figures show.
6.22m (33.9%) watched at 7.30pm on ITV and 262k (1.2%) on +1 as Ken considered reporting Peter's drinking to the prison for his own good.
Emmerdale continued to perform well with 5.72m (33.5%) tuning in at 7pm on ITV and 155k (0.8%) on +1 for a violent row between Ross and Aaron.
Hollyoaks attracted 765k (4.8%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with Sam and Danny's funeral episode, while E4's first look followed with 791k (4.6%) at 7pm and 192k (0.9%) on +1.
Over on Channel 5, the revelation of Paige's true identity in Neighbours was seen by 574k (8.8%) at 1.45pm and 738k (6.0%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away interested 264k (3.9%) at 1.15pm, 645k (4.4%) at 6pm and 295k (1.8%) with 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors appealed to 1.05m (16.1%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
